The Fitness Center - Rebecca Fellows TryonMatthew Tryon
Matthew's recent branching into the health and fitness industry is rooted in 10 years of scientific research investigating the emotional and stress mechanisms that influence cardiovascular disease, cancer, obesity and diabetes. As a personal trainer and wellness coach, he utilizes mind/body models to implement creative and highly specific programs that empower others to shape a lifestyle that will actively serve their long-term well-being. Matthew is an avid outdoor enthusiast and former competitive martial artist.

As part of his outreach mission to promote health and well-being, Matthew believes that health can only be appreciated in the contexts of the mind, body and spirit and demonstrates his clear vision through joyful interaction with others. Matthew follows Joseph Campbell's formula: "Follow your bliss. Find where it is, and don't be afraid to follow it."
